"After my first six months with this company, they attempted to increase my premiums about 20%. I then went to their Creighton Road office and talked to their then manager there, who assisted me with reducing my monthly premium to about $87.00 per month. When I left there I thought that I would be paying that amount for the next six months, but they only did it for about three months, and then sent me notification that my premium would increase to about $120.00 per month starting in July. I called the office to ask them to change my policy in order to keep my monthly payments to about $87.00 and they just ignored this; none of their agents contacted me and they kept sending me emails asking for a new six month contract at the higher price. So I switched to another provider on June 7 and will never do business with John Shaffer or any of his agents again! I have not had any citations or accidents in many years, so that is not the reason for the unjustifiable increase in premiums that they attempted to sell me."

"It is quite unfortunate that I feel compelled to write this, but the John Shaffer State Farm offices in Pensacola provides dreadful service. In literally dozens of calls to the office over the past three years I have never ever spoken with John and he's always "out of the office". Any time that I requested literally anything from a simple administrative item, to a claim, to a quote, to a billing issue...I had to call back numerous times or else it would not get resolved. I've had State Farm coverage in three different states and this is by far the worst experience ever. I've pulled all three of my policies away and taken them to another insurance carrier."
