"I have to take back my last review where I said State Farm was great. Initially they were, never had an issue with them and they were the only insurance company that would let me stay insured even though I drove for Uber to make ends meet. My previous insurance carrier, Geico wouldn’t insure me if I continued with Uber. Everything was fine Until I wanted to change my due date. The female agent told me I didn’t have to make a payment for the month it was due bc something about waiting out the 30 days? I never understood what she was talking about but believed she knew what she was saying. A month passes then I get a double bill which happens to fall on the day my car payment is due! I have never missed or been late on my car payments and wasn’t about to start! I called not one but three times asking what happened? The last agent, a male tells me that the female agent told me wrong about not having to make that months payment. I said “fine”, then State Farm needs to pay for it since they were the one at fault! They threatened that if I don’t make the now two and a half months payment now they would cancel me. I didn’t have the money to pay Both my car payment and the insurance payment which would’ve taken all my paycheck and leave me with nothing for the week. Long story short, the male agent argued with me, was very rude and hung up on me! I quit Uber and went back to Geico and got a less cheaper rate. You suck State Farm!"
